Slow Down and Take a Few Deep Breaths

It was such an honor to share about meditation & spirituality on the Austrian TV show we got to be part of ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ซ

Being I share in German I thought I would translate some of the daily practices I share about on the show. These are the things I do daily that can completely change my entire day.

๐Ÿ’ซ Put my hand on my heart and breathe. I even will look down at my feet and remember to come back to the present. โ€œBe where my feet are.โ€ Especially when I am worrying about what will happen ahead.
๐Ÿ’ซ Write down all the things that I am worrying about and put them in my โ€œUniverse box.โ€ The physical act of letting go of these things, even for just a moment, brings relief.
๐Ÿ’ซ Take a piece of paper and draw a line through the center - On one side I write โ€œwhat's in my controlโ€ on the other side โ€œwhat's out of my control.โ€ I then write down everything I can control and everything I canโ€™t. I often laugh because most of the things I am worrying about I canโ€™t even control or change! Just that perspective feels like a weight lifted.
